Golden State Warriors vs. Washington Wizards 03/23/2015

Following a significantly large victory over the Utah Jazz on Saturday night, the Golden State Warriors would have to overcome a major obstacle to complete their perfect home stand on this evening.
Rolling into town looking to avenge two consecutive losses were the always dangerous Washington Wizards (40-30).
Thankfully for Golden State, Klay Thompson had finally resumed basketball activities, and was slated to start and play 25 minutes for the Warriors tonight.
Thus, the honoring of the 1975 Warriors NBA Title would likely turn into a victory celebration, capping yet another perfect home stand for a dynamic Golden State roster.
Nevertheless, the daunting duo of John Wall and Bradley Beal have generally proven themselves as a highly dangerous opposition, and the Warriors were certainly aware that they would have to proceed with caution.
On this night, however, Washington was doomed from the beginning, as historical greatness was bound to motivate Golden State beyond any sort of human control.
"We look at it every day in our practice facility. We don't stop and talk about it, but it's there. It's there for a reason," Kerr said of the 1975 Championship Banner, waving in the rafters.
And, as if they didn't already have plenty of motivation, the Warriors emerged tonight as a true powerhouse, demolishing the Wizards 107-76 in humiliating fashion.
Stephen Curry led the charge, amassing a game-high 24 points and stockpiling a garden variety of other statistics to add to his MVP-caliber resume.
With yet another victory, Golden State improved to 34-2 at home and trimmed their magic number for clinching the Pacific Division title to one.

Tomorrow night in the home of the Portland Trailblazers, the Warriors will have a chance to clinch their first division crown since 1976.
